The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Cao Tuong Huy, presented

Hans Joachim Radtke, Ambassador of the Intergovernmental Organization UnASDG to Vietnam and CEO of BHG Berliner Handelsgesellschaft GmbH, a symbolic gift from the Ha Long Bay region.

At the reception, Mr. Hans Joachim Radtke expressed his thanks for the warm welcome to Quang Ninh Province, impressed by the beautiful natural landscapes, especially Ha Long Bay - a World Heritage Site, a very friendly spirit and friendly people.

Introducing the intergovernmental organization UnASDG, Mr. Hans Joachim Radtke confirmed that it is a non-profit organization that sustainably supports the government and partners in the areas of monitoring the implementation of sustainable development projects to increase sustainable investments in the areas of technology, planning, the environment, humanitarian aid, crises and disaster protection, and finance.

In Quang Ninh, UnASDG will accompany and support the Thai An Holding Joint Stock Company, which is expected to organize a series of events such as the Art For Climate Festival HaLong, which is scheduled to take place in early 2025 with the participation of about 200 international billionaires.

In addition to the 17 SDGs with 169 sub-targets, important topics include research into a range of investment areas such as education, fisheries logistics, clean energy projects, waste recycling, education and health.

Mr. Hans Joachim Radtke hopes that Quang Ninh will create the conditions for UnASDG to explore investment opportunities and support both domestic and foreign companies operating in the province.

Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, thanked the UNASDG and international investors for their trust and for choosing Quang Ninh to learn about and explore ideas for cooperation and development.

He also confirmed that Quang Ninh is one of the most attractive investment locations for strategic investors, with nearly 200 investors from 20 countries currently doing business and developing stably in the province, with a total investment of nearly 16 billion USD.

The province is also the only locality in the country that has a border with China both on land and at sea, the gateway that connects ASEAN countries with China and vice versa. Quang Ninh has synchronous infrastructure, an inter-regional connection, a highway system that links economic and cultural centers in the province. There is an international airport that receives large flights and private flights and there is an international port that welcomes luxury cruise ships from around the world.

In the spirit of cooperation and absolute compliance with the law, Quang Ninh will create the most favorable conditions, provide public and utility services, and offer an open, convenient, equal, transparent environment for business investment in which investors can succeed and invest sustainably in the province.

UNASDG and its affiliated currency authority USD Mint have already confirmed that they will provide initial start-up funding for the development of the region at the Art for Climate event in January and will oversee its implementation together with Thaian Holdings.

The comrade suggested that the relevant departments and branches coordinate closely with UnASDG and Thai An Holding Joint Stock Company to prepare for the organization of the Art For Climate Festival HaLong.

With the information that the festival will welcome about 200 international billionaires to the province, this is a very good opportunity for Quang Ninh to continue promoting and attracting investment. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate investment promotion programs, introduce and promote the image of a developed and attractive province in the festival event.

Ambassador Radtke's actual task is to explore how the UNASDG can support Vietnam in achieving the SDGs.

The UNASDG was happy to pledge its support for the ART OF CLIMATE FESTIVAL project in Quang Ninh province in Vietnam. The main focus here is on protecting the world heritage site of HALONG BAY and on repairing the severe storm damage caused by the cyclone that wreaked havoc in the province and unfortunately also claimed lives.

We believe that the idea of THAI ANH HOLDINGS deserves every support, on the one hand to preserve the World Heritage Site and, in addition, that the projects are also geared towards achieving the SDGs. We look forward to working with Vietnam.
