UNASDG confirmed to support UNGSII and Cities Leadership Platform 25+5 to move forward with the the development of the SDG3 Health Hub in Brasov, Romania.
It is the first health hub of its kind and will be the precursor for 5 more SDG3 Health Hub satellites. The launch of the project is planned for 2023, after all active partners have been finalized.
Initially 5 satellites are planned
The 5 more satellites are planned in Mendoza (Argentina), Sikkim and Noida (India), Kinshasa and Kolwesi (DRC), and San Marino as a lighthouse project to implement the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with their 169 targets adopted by 193 heads of government at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA on September 25, 2015.
Intended focus areas
Production and distribution of individual food additives, especially to fight and cure SARS COV 2 Viruses 2 during and after the Covid - 19 pandemic.
Production and distribution of novel and existing pharmaceuticals to fight and cure cancer.
Production and distribution of individual pharmaceuticals, produced according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Use and integration of existing sales structures into international markets.
